Help Us Care for Animals in Need

A Covid-19 Update from Center Valley Animal Rescue

Greetings Animal Lovers –
A Covid-19 Update from Center Valley Animal Rescue

As we all adjust to the impact of Corona Virus on our communities CVAR is here to continue the important work of providing safe harbor and rehabilitation for unwanted, injured or abandoned domesticated and wild animals.

We are open to the public by appointment only, for single parties of no more than 5 people.

Masks and social distancing are required.

Call the office at 360-765-0598 to book an appointment.

That said, we still need our amazing volunteers and our animals are still looking for forever homes. Our New Volunteer Orientation will continue via Zoom meetings, please fill out an online application and we will sign you up for the next orientation.

Adoption appointments will be made on a singular basis in the afternoon hours only, to keep the number of people onsite to a minimum.

  • Please stay in your car and wait for an office member to assist you.
  • Please wear a mask.
  • Please do not come to the ranch if you do not have an appointment.

Animal intakes are available by appointment.

  • Please call before bringing any animal to CVAR and please DO NOT bring animals into the building.
  • We are always available for intake of wildlife emergencies, but please call first.
  • We ask that anyone showing signs of illness stay home.

Please call 360-765-0598
or email info@centervalleyanimalrescue.org
or volunteer@Centervalleyanimalrescue.org
with any further questions.

Thank you to all our Volunteers and Donors!
– Center Valley Animal Rescue –

Center Valley Animal Rescue volunteers care for over 150 animals daily. We have positions and projects for all skill sets and passions!

Training and Orientation

We hold monthly training and orientations:

We want you to be a part of our team, please submit an application and join us today!

Volunteers can be individuals, couples, parents with children, service groups, students and community service workers – all that is required is a caring heart, dedication to animal welfare and a signed waiver. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, the minimum age for a volunteer is 8 years old.

Positions include:

  • Daily inside animal care (cats, dogs, birds, small animals, and reptiles)
  • Daily outside animal care (sheep, rabbits, goats, llamas, horses and more!)
  • Office work
  • Staffing Spay/Neuter Clinics
  • Fundraising committee
  • Events committee
  • Fence and facility building
  • And more

Our animal population is dynamic – you never know what new exotic, adorable baby animals or unique wildlife will be sheltered at the ranch. Our volunteers help rehabilitate and rehome our animals – and one of the biggest perks of working at the ranch is the opportunity to socialize and restore human and animal bonds with our creatures. We deeply appreciate our volunteers and welcome all who share our love of animals!
