How to Get Involved

How do you want to volunteer?

Are you a reptile person? Cat lover? Goat whisperer? Maybe you want to help with fundraising or events or photography? Let us know what interests you! We will work with you to set up any training that is needed. You can read more about our animal care roles below. If you have any questions, you can email us at volunteer@centervalleyanimalrescue.org or call (360) 765-0598.

Schedule Training

All animal care roles require training before working independently. You can schedule your training session with the Volunteer Coordinator following orientation. Training hours vary depending on the role/animal.

Our Opportunities

Our animal population is dynamic. You never know what new furry, feathered, or scaled creatures will be coming through our doors. Volunteers work closely with the animals – one of the perks of being involved at the ranch. Volunteers help restore human/animal bonds and improve the chances for successful adoptions. We could not continue this life-saving work without volunteers. We have a variety of animal care roles that volunteers fill 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Learn more about opportunities to work with animals below.
